Epilepsy

I'm absolutely confused for I was not told by my doctors office that I could not drive.  Therefore, I'm taking it as I can drive.  Am I foolish or what, I require the doctors listed requirement of not driving...or else I drive!

Big Ten

Alright, the Big Ten is a week conference.  Our best teams typically falter in the Bowl Games.  Of course I believe that's due to our season ending SO early!

This post all boils down to one FUN thing.  If you click this link you'll see that Michigan State is in the #2 spot in the Big Ten Conference Standings.  This is while University of Michigan holds the #10 spot in the Big Ten Conference.

Man oh man does that feel good, out of spite alone.  The sad fact is that I find myself actually rooting for the Wolverines.  This is caused by Big Ten first, followed by the fact that my home state of Michigan seems to be falling, and falling hard.  So I'm rooting for anything from my home lands in the tundric coasts of the United States.  Life friggin changes!

Amazing

I find it beyond amazing the way this election makes me feel.  I went from 18 to 27 before I cast my first ballot.  The last election didn't seem as important to me.  However, I did rush out of a student group meeting early and run to the bus station and caught a bus to my polling place.  So I guess it was important.

All I can say is GO OBAMA!

Life

Is annoyed by the phrase "to late" and would love to pay back like that...but that's not cool.  I  just need to let God clear me out.

Life is amazing the way that it is different for the better in all ways, but there are a few knocks to the engine.  However, repairs are as simple as changing a radiator, muffler, etc.  So I've never had it so good, and the best is yet to come!

Health Insurance

Well, being Epileptic sucks for many reasons.  But the major one is that if I want to be treated appropriately, and compliant with doctors prescriptions, I'm run high (to me) in medical expenses.

Thus far I've spent $1,800 for doctors and medications, add into that the approximate $900 in health insurance payments.  Pain in the rear is what this is, and it seems expensive.

However, in perspective it's not a bad deal.  To bad health care used to be affordable, efficient, and effective.  The primary question is where the flaws are generated.  I have a biased perspective being the son of a doctor.

I do feel the problems really do stem from the 1.  Health insurance companies,
2.  Pharmaceutical companies,
3.  Attorneys that chase ambulances
4.  Doctors who are profit motivated
5.  Medical schools that don't teach doctors to be doctors anymore.

In essence I hold the government fully responsible for issues 1-3, but I like to isolate the targets first.

I do believe Barack can overcome this, and will focus energies and finances appropriately.  Here's hoping things go the right way, from my perspective.

Colin Powell

I find it very moving to hear Colin Powell's endorsement of Barack Obama.  This is not due to his words about Obama, but his presentation of the fall of the GOP and the status of the country.

Wow, I've got to say...I like Mr. Powell even more!  However, he's always won me over!

OUCH

Well, I'm watching my Spartan's get trumped heartily.  I'm sad to see the sadness with the players, coaches, and fans!  It is NEVER TO LATE!  We proved that years ago with Northwestern.  I hope we can overcome the battle with self that leads us to defeats.

Let's Go Green!

Economy and Spartan

Well, I'm sick of the dips and dives of the US economy.  Although, I'm conveniently at the beginning of my career, and the economy will allegedly get way better, it still sucks!

I was expecting (haha) a good rise in Apple, buy stock and it falls like rain!  OMG

Regardless of all I'm really happy to be MSU Alum and think it's literally hilarious to see the Wolverines suffer!  They still have other good athletic programs, jeez, maybe that's derived from less arrogance for those programs.

Go Green, Go White, Go Spartans!

Bleeding Green

I simply think this is funny due to my absolute love for my Alma Mater known as Michigan State University. I find it funny that I'm so dedicated to the Spartan's, know matter what it is. I do like to see ads and such on TV for them.

So that being said we must say...

Go Green!!!!

Go White!!!!

Go Spartans!!!!

Joy

Reading this article about MSUs graduating football seniors makes me pretty happy. It's cool to see the degrees that our Spartan football players are earning. I know last year one my football friends in the Packaging program graduated, and that's cool. This really moves me more since I read the dissing of U of M by Jim Harbaugh, who is U of M alum that they tried to pull into coach the team. However, he's coaching at Stanford now...and doing well.

I must say I find it very interesting due to the awesomeness of my college! One of my colleagues in the office who's Stanford engineering and MIT MBA educated knew about the tirade between Wolvies and Spartans. Doesn't that speak to the banter between MSU and U of M?

Anyhow, check out some of the degrees and it's cool!

Newport Beach and more...

Well last Monday I got asked to provide a public speech in Newport Beach. So now I've officially spoken from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Additionally, Alison and I rode up to Huntington Beach to grab dinner, under the advisement of friends. We ate at the end of a pier overlooking the Pacific Ocean, it was very cool!

Life

Well I must admit, life is pretty darn good for me. I’m super happy that I can fully upload my reimbursement claims for my medical spending account, so I don’t have to fax it in. That is definitely a bonus!

Additionally, I was in class for work today and that is quite different. My stats classes at Abbott Nutritionals, that was boring. This class is quite cool. I feel like I’m learning a lot and I like the teacher!

So Amen to April 8, 2008!

Bike Riding

FYI: I ride my bike to and from work (5.2 miles) 3 days a week for 3 weeks, then 4 days a week for 4 weeks, followed by every day of the week. In this process I'm saving money and earth!

I’ve decided to start my way back from work on a detour path. In the detour I have to climb up a large hill on the road and then descend it. Today I got up to 51 mph on the way down that hill. I must admit, felt pretty darn good!

My total riding for the day tallied up to 8.4 miles. This broke down into 2.6 in the morning and 5.8 in the early evening. If I get a cyclometer for my birthday I’ll even know the altitude changes and all that.

I love my bike and just need a few add ons for the street riding and I feel it’s prepping me up well for the mountains!

Well if you check out this link you'll see what meltdown is all about.

It is interesting, to say the least.

Country Markett closes its doors

Country Markett closes its doors

This simply is sad, but it was far sadder when I entered that place last. It had a poorer selection then 7-11 and QD.

WTF
