So the world is all good in the life of Josh V. I went to get some diagnostic testing done, and I refilled one of my medications. However, that med is a brand name with a generic counterpart. My doc doesn't feel comfy with me on the generic, nor do I. So I got that script refilled and it came to the tune of $749.33. So I also got an evaluation done at the start of the year, and the bill came due for that. This was to the tune of $489.50.
Due to the epilepsy being a developed disability, due to a car accident, my auto insurance has to reimburse me for all these medical costs. The crazy thing about that is that it makes being epileptic affordable to me. I think it's horrible that an engineer could scrape by the costs, barely. Meanwhile there are several people out there that could not make it.
I hope that the pharma companies and insurance don't rip them off, like they do me.
Man, I hope Obama's health care stuff goes thru!
